Holy cow, we have progress

We talked to our project manager this week (well, Alicia did; when he called me, it was in the 30 seconds I was away from my desk)... he said the rain hasn't wreaked too much havoc on our time frame - perhaps a day or so behind.  He also let us know this would be an exciting week of visible progress.  He wasn't kidding.  Check out what was on the lot today:

Wait, what?

I was told I haven't posted enough pictures of the kids lately because we're too focused on pictures of the house.  THERE!  We couldn't find our camera's battery charger, so we have a bit of a gap, and it turns out all pictures of Marissa were taken during the gap, so they're on another camera and another SD card - in Alaska, in fact.  So, once we get ahold of them, and find a surprised blank stare at the camera type picture of her, we'll post it.  Okay, so where was I?  Oh yeah, blogging about a house being built.

 ...by these guys:

Here's a look at the front of the house.  When internal walls go up, you won't be able to see the windows at the back of the garage because they'll be in the morning room, so we're enjoying the unobstructed view now.

Tyvek anyone?

We've posted plenty of pictures of the front door.  Now, we finally get our first glimpse of our back door, making its only appearance in front of the house.

Looks neat.  By the way, unless they did it this morning, there still may not be concrete poured yet.  If they don't get it poured, we might just have dirt floors.  Damn rain.  But hey, won't have to sweep too often.  No matter how often you sweep dirt, it never looks clean.

That's all for now!
